Can you swim at Bingin Beach?

Bingin Beach’s best swimming is to be had at low tide when the waves dip and the small sandy coves provide pleasant shelter for swimmers. You should be aware that this isn’t the easiest beach to get to and you will need to climb down some uneven, rocky stairs to the sand.

How to access Bingin Beach?

PARKING, & THE STAIRS TO BINGIN BEACH

The beach cannot be accessed directly by road, due to its location at the base of a steep Uluwatu cliff. To reach Bingin, park your scooter at the designated lot at the top of the cliffs (find the map here). The parking fee is IDR 2,000 and can be paid in cash.

When to surf Bingin Beach?

The best season for surfing at Bingin Beach is during the dry season as the wave is usually big and powerful, making it ideal for surfing adventures. That being said, any time of the year, Bingin will not disappoint it’s lucky visitors.
